An End All Solution To Drug Related Problems?
Hey everyone, what do you all think of the idea that the government should pour all the money it has wasted through it’s countless endevours to stop drugs, which has to easily be billions and billions of dollars, into developing a -new- drug or treatment or enzyme or whatever, that would inhibit the effects of other drugs, that could be injected into a drug-user or dealer.
I mean come on, if they can clone things, and even people as was done in a dish before the samples were destroyed as was printed in the Metro, then they must he able to come up with a way to inhibit the effects of LSD, Cocaine, Weed etc, and if they have no effect on people, no hallucinations, no freak outs, then there will be no further reason to -take- the drug, thus ending the problem once and for all, if there is no demand, the supply drops, and would eventually just dry out.
What do you all think on this? I would love it to be a truth, unfortunately, it isn’t, and likely will never be.
Sounds good in theory, but a little too “Big Brotherish” for my liking. I would actually like drugs to be legalized so we could take profits way from the dealers and quit wasting resources chasing this never-to-be-fixed problem.
I think that drugs are just a crutch for many users and if you take that away, they will just throw themselves into another addiction (like alcohol, which is legal for some ridiculous reason). there is no easy solution to a problem this longlasting and widespread.

Drug-addicted people and dealers are from strictly separeted spheres of influence. Generally, dealers dont eat. Police should get better video systems !!!

You are assuming that Government wants to actually cure America’s drug problem. Our Government makes a lot of money from the fact that we have illegal drugs.

Actually your solution has some merit. No effects, no problems. I like it and it is probably feasible if some would take the time and money.

1) look concerning this matter…………….first of all don’t convince me by any mean dat there is no drug has no side effects……..ok so any drug either those under investigation or in the market will have a side effect at least gastric upsets..ok
2) concerning da idea dat u are refering………………from ur point of view is it better to do da investigation on viruses which actually known for their resistance and in other words “no treatment” for it and people are dying…..or those “Auto immune diseases” in which the body attacks him self and usually this is an open question which have no answer till now and scientists are on dat…..or to those on drugs like coccaine and etcs………which of which?!
but with the following presented informations dat
a) by strong willing those on drugs will reverse to their natural and normal view after month “MAX”……………..while those with viruses and auto immune diseases will be till death with the disease and even strong willing may be just longen their lives from few months to 2 years max……….if there is no miracle in between.
b) those on drugs they choosed so but those with the previously mentioned diseases ………….these things are outta of their hands
c) those on drugs have time to redecide their lives and organize it while those with chronic diseases have no time and any time wasting can just worsening the case
look now u have the case with the informations refered and wanna the solution?!
then solve this problem and tell me ur opinion
PLUS DON’T FORGET THE ECONOMIC PART………………………BY LOGIC WHICH U WANNA TO SOLVE AND WHICH WILL DESERVE TO GET THE MONEY FOR AND RESCUE THOSE WHO REALLY AND ACTUALLY NEED RESCUE AND A SAFE LIFE?!

Do you think cloning is dat so easy?!
for sure it is not a piece of cake!!
so u wanna cloning for those on drugs………..perfect why doing so although they can stop it from their own?!
plus cloning is not always of perfect results actually it will need years to do so?!
i think logically it is better to act on cloning for those with chronic diseases not those on drugs
plus for me i don’t prefer cloning by all means whatever were the conditions or the situation……….and this is my opinion

by the way am not underestimating those in drugs …………..i saw some people within serious cases and actually most die…………….but by the way they choosed dat way………………..while those helpless powerless people with chronic diseases what should be done with them…………..as a amatter of fact …chronic diseases patients neither wanna dat nor wanna the case worsen

That is fine as long as it isn’t forced on people. I for one am happy smoking an occasional joint. I agree too much money is wasted on “The War on Drugs”. As we learned during prohibition it is better to find ways to deal with the addictions rather than try to outlaw them.
Hello Barrett. The basic problem with both drugs and alcohol is that a person starts using them to escape from their own reality. It is used recreationally, but then it becomes an addiction, either by the escape or through physical addiction. In my own humble opinion, even if some wonder drug was invented that removed all desire for intoxication, you would still be left with the original problem of people who cannot deal with their lives without the escape. Nice idea though. Take care and I hope this helps you in some small way.
