It’s SO good that you want to live healthily! I lost 54lbs…you can see my cool before and after picture here: http://www.healthandstrength.net
If you want to get healthy and strong like I did, here is what I did…you can use any of the information that you like…I did it all! Follow the links I give you for some of my suggestions, there is ALOT more info in those links than I can type in here…
1. NEVER EVER ate sugar. It’s a poison that makes us older, sicker, fatter and tired…all things we dont want. Seriously, sugar is the one who does the dirty work in weight gain. Stop eating it all together. You can see my list of ingredients to avoid when shopping here http://www.healthandstrength.net/qofweek…
2. Drink ALOT of water. 2-3 liters a day. The more the merrier! We need about half our body weight in ounces JUST for regular body functions! When you feel thirsty, that means you are already dehydrated and lose brain function. Water flushes toxins from your fat cells and keeps you younger.
3. Exercise!!! So very important. Here http://www.healthandstrength.net/abexe.h… are my favorite ab exercises. I also do cardio 4-5 days a week for about 30 minutes a time.
4. Eat less. How many calories do you think is in that burger or that plate of fries or in that handful of chips. What about overfilling our plates? If you go here http://www.healthandstrength.net/qofweek… I wrote something about saving on calories and losing weight.
5. Go to sleep before 10pm. Your body starts repairing and rebuilding and speeding up weight loss while you sleep only if you sleep at about 10pm. If you are awake and go to bed at 12, you miss out on that very important time.
6. BE POSITIVE. Be thankful every day and love yourself
7. BE CONSISTANT! That I think is the KEY to losing weight. So what if you went a week and only lost a pound…or didnt lose any…KEEP going. DON’T stop. This is a lifelong commitment, so stick to it and one day you will open your eyes and need a new wardrobe!
8. Eat more veggies and skinny friendly foods. I have my list of my top ten foods that I ate to lost weight here http://www.healthandstrength.net/tenfood…
80% veggies at every meal including breakfast will keep you young and help you lose weight.
Good luck! And remember, health is a lifelong thing…eating crappy food just makes you get older faster, fatter faster and makes you feel…well, like crap! Sure it tastes great, but when you consume these kinds of things, your body uses the damaged and nutrient foods to TRY and build your body…we need to feed ourselves with the highest quality of food…If you think about it, if you didnt have your body, you wouldnt be able to live on earth, so we might as well take the best care of it!
Have fun!!!
See about joining a gym, to get proper ongoing advice for your particular build and requirements.
Right now lots of exercise (running, swimming, sport) is good. When you are a bit older, you might consider weights, but you are a bit young for that right now. Your bones and joints are still developing. Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, and avoid junk, fatty and spicy foods and fizzy drinks like they are the plague.
Remember to train your mind as well as your body – as that is where most of your strength will come from. Martial arts training will be good for building mental and physical strength without the bulk.
Good luck.
Okay.begin by eating less of your portions. Half of what you have been or a few less bites. Cut down on the cheese and fried foods to almost once a week like a treat. Get a book on calories. Now, this will help if yo choose the good foods, like fresh vegetables and fruits, nuts and seeds. Foods that are real, not messed with, for they have added sugars.
If you have any medical problem , you need to consult your doctor!
No junk food or once a month as a cheat day~
